Can anyone direct me to some resources that can show me how to program manually an email verification and password recovery scheme. I can't use the password recovery web control because I have a custom membership site, and therefore my tables are different.
I would like to have what other sites have where after you sign up, an email is sent to their email address with a link back to the site to make sure the email is verified, it will also have the username and password in the email alert.
I also need a custom password recovery scheme that sends the user's name and password to the email after they select forgot password? link
Any help would be appreciated. I code in vb.net, use asp.net 2.0 and vstudio2005.
