Hello everyone,

I'm going to get a new computer soon (laptop or PC - haven't decided yet) and was wondering if I should get Windows 64bit or not...?  My plan is just to create a personal project in asp.net and perhaps one in VB.net as well (nothing complex - I haven't programmed since VB6 so I'm setting the bar low!).  It's tempting because the extra RAM is affordable (and as I understand it, 64bit OS is needed to use more than 3GB) but I don't want to create any extra problems for myself.

Also, do I need to get a particular version?  I just installed the express edition of Visual Studio only to find out I can't run it on Windows XP Home (no IIS - d'oh!).

Thanks in advance!
