Hi, I have a question about a ValidationExpression for a RegulareExpressionValidator. I need an expression that won't allow a file name to contain special characters. The user will upload a file via a FileUpload control. It can be any kind of file, but it can't contain any special characters. It does have to allow the path to contain a period and spaces like ex. C:\Documents and Settings\user.name\My Documents\filename.txt. Any ideas on this? Is this even possible? I've been looking all over online and can't find any info. Thanks in advance.
