I'm using a pretty standard bit of SmtpClient code to send a mail via my Office 365 account.  I've gleaned the SMTP settings from the relavant page in OWA (where it shows settings for POP, IMAP and SMTP).
The SMTP Server is pod99999.outlook.com (not actually 99999, but you get the idea).  The port is 587.  Interestingly the OWA page says that the Encryption Method should be TLS (it's SSL for POP and IMAP), and I can't specify that in the code, so far as I can see.  When I try to connect, I'm seeing:
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 999:999:999:999:587
(again, not actually 999).  I guess that either I'm doing something silly, or Office 365 just doesn't want me to send mail this way.
Any ideas welcome,
Thanks.
