CreatUserWizard doesn't save in production database

I customized the wizard to add fields for first and last name. It will save the information in my own data table, but will not save any information in the aspnet tables. It works on my local but not on the production server.
The CreateUserWizard will inform me of success and will go to the screen with the continue button.
Any reasons why it is not saving to the aspnet tables?
