Hey guys, I don't post very often to these forums but I figured it's worth a shot.
I'm working on an application right now where I need to be able to fire off a canned message from Outlook based on the user that gets returned from a query performed against a database.
For example:
Admin logs into webapp, searches for "JohnDoe". Webapp returns "Doe, John. JohnDoe@contoso.com. Password: #$%#$"
That part's already been done.
Now my problem is, I need to be able, from the result screen, have some event (button, link, automatic, doesn't matter) that will open Outlook (easy, considering its an Intranet application on specific user computers. Controlled environment) modify the "From" field to a specific email, replace the "To" field with the result of the query, place in a canned subject, and in the body place a canned message relaying username/password information.
This step will NOT be sending ...
