this is essentially a follow up to a previous post to access attributes, I thought the answer was found
vs and the program running doesn't complain about this code until I actually try and work with a selected attribute (checked is boolean)
Dim foo2 As Object = Page.PreviousPage.FindControl("goback")
If Not foo2 Is Nothing Then
If foo2.attributes("checked") = False Then

the foo2 object is instanced ok, I can see all its attributes in the debugger but the foo2.attributes syntax does not work
what is the object needed for foo2.attributes ?
