Hi,

I'm new to web services, so here goes.  I'm building a site that is secure.  Once a user logs in, it authenticates them once and shoves their user id into session state.  From there on after, on every page load, it checks to see if there is a user id in the session state object for it, and if not, they are booted out to the login page (so if someone just tries to navigate to a page, it will boot them out, or if the session times out, the same thing will happen).  How can I use the same type of security checking in a webservice in my app? ...can you access session from a web service?  I guess I really actually only want to be able to expose my web service to client side ajax calls, and not really expose it to anyone who can just make a call to it.  Am I making sense? ...I just want these web services to be internal to my app (although I guess they really can't be if my page needs to make a client-side call).  Any info would b ...
