First line always removed even if its not selected in gridview

I could of sworn this code was working a few days ago but it no longer seems to be that way. I have a gridview with a select, when the select is clicked on a specific row, that row is supposed to be removed from the class and the gridview. What seems to be happening is the first line of data is always being removed no matter what row was selected...i just think i need another pair of eyes to see whats going on.
