How get data from database in a few selectes, sort and display

Hi I want to get from database productID, name, description and price. So I've got a textbox where you can put the productID and i've got two buttons. If you press first one you can enter to the same textbox productID again and again. But when you press the second one I want to sort every product you put there before and display it on the screen. How can I store the product(where can i keep it array, list) and how can i compare it from the products from database. What is the best way to do these. Every answer would be helpfull.
