I was using visual studio 2008 and sql server 2005. After installing vwd 2010 express i cannot use sql server 2005 (i think sql server 2008 overwrited some sql 2005 files).
This is how my sql server 2005 configuration manager looks like now
This is the message from SQL server surface area configuration:
"No SQL Server 2005 components were found on the specified computer. Either no components are installed, or you are not an administrator on this computer. (SQLSAC)"
I guess the problem is vwd installed SQL server 2008 with the same instance name as SQL server 2005 (SQLEXPRESS).
I need my 2005 instance. Any ideas how to restore it?
