Dropdownlist and multilingual

There is a dropdownlist and some labels on teh web page. I would like to display some text on the web page based on what option the user selects from the DDL. The display text I will be putting in a Resx file as the web pages are multilingual. The code below works fine. However, the dropdownlist items may change as well as the text based on the dropdown. Is there a better way of handling this?
