I am using Visual Studio 2008, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008 to create a website. I use both the PasswordRecovery and ChangePassword ASP server controls to help to manage user passwords. Basicallly I am taking advantage of the build-in tools for managing the user login process.
The password recovery and change password process are working as expected. I have created and included a text file for both password recovery and change password. The issue I have is that the actual password in not included in the password recorvery email. The text I created for the recovery process is included in the email but the actual password is not. The whole idea of password recovery process is remind the user of the password they had forgotten.
I would appreciate assistance on this, what do I need to do in order to ensure that the password is included in the recovery email.
