How do you recover a password without using the secret question/answer? I can't use PasswordRecovery control because it uses question/answer. I want to simply generate new password and send it to the user's email. My membership provider does not have a password encryption algorythm specified, so I believe it is stored as hash. I would gladly use Membership.ChangePassword, but I can't use it because I can't retreive the old password, because it is stored as hash. So the only way (I believe) to change the password is to encrypt it myself and save it to the database. But how?
