I am trying to install SQL Server 2008 Express R2 (64bit) on a laptop for some training I am doing on a laptop running Windows 7 Professional SP1.
I have Admin rights on laptop with 8gb ram using I7 processor - plenty of Hard Drive Space - it passes all of the pre-checks during installation, but I keep getting the following errors(from log file):
