Hey all,
The company I work for has most of their static basic websites done in php, however as our site list grows I have been looking at making a presentation to the boses about content management and how converting our sites to a data-centric model would be more benificial to our growth and tracking where our content is.
Just to sum it up for anyone that may not be following what I am talking about
The idea behind it is to have all of our content delievered from a database such as ms sql and dynamically populating our site pages from a single database source, this allows for removal of duplicate content plus a lot of other benifits.
I want to use asp.net instead of php, asp.net lends itself better to this method. However the problem is many of our sites are well over 2 years old and have been indexed by all search engines and my concern is if I change a page from Go to the complete details ...
