For some obscure reasons, my web developers are requiring me to buy a dedicated server for them to be able to upload their database on the server. They want to restore a .bak database and they say i have to buy a dedicated server for that. Well, i do not what to buy it since it is quite expensive and our website do not have a high traffic. Basically, the website will allow users to upload documents such as pdf and doc. Also, a user can upload his profile picture. It's now a simple website and i think it does not need to have a dedicated server. What do you guys think? Do I need to buy a dedicated server? Or my developers do not know what they are doing?
