I have a form based on VB.net and connected to sql server database the entries in the form are saved in database
I have two filds such as event_date and Emp_ID both of these are not primary key, primary key is some other field.
Now I want to prevent duplication of Emp_Id on a particluar event_date though in the database the same Emp_Id can exists on same day.
The Idea is to prevent duplication of entries related to an Employee identified with Emp_ID on the same event_date.
How to write code for this in VB
