Am I missing something?
I have a simple textbox and submit button on my page; the textbox has a RequiredFieldValidator (Display="Dynamic") attached. If I change the ValidationGroup of both the validator AND the submit button in code-behind, the client-side validation behaves in this strange manner:
When I tab off the empty textbox, no error is displayed (this should not be). When I click the submit button on the very first time (textbox empty), client-side validation takes place and the error is shown (this is correct).
