I am trying to set the focus to another textbox as I tab through the form on 3 textbox controls I have them set to autopostback in the textchanged event I change the values of the text portion of the listitems in a dropdown list
I then call
ScriptManager.GetCurrent(
Me.Page).SetFocus(txtFirstname) 'tried with or without the .ClientID
However when the updatepanel refreshes I can see that it sets focus but then focus is removed and the dropdown I modified resizes.
There is no autopostback set on the dropdown and I am out of ideas as to what the issue is.
