Clearing TextBoxes in TabCtrls

Ok after trial and error i figured out why my textboxes were not clearing.  It was because it was within TabCtl.
Im trying to insert data into the database and then clear the textboxes after the insert.  I used this code and hope you can see what im trying to do. Here i have a simpler project that i have implemented the add and then clear textBoxes after the user clicks the button.  How can i do the same thing within a TabCtrl?
