I have some DataGrids that reside within a TabControl. These DataGrids happen to take advantage of the RowDetails part. The row details works great the first time I navigate to the TabItem. But upon navigating to another tab and then returning, the row details expand / collapse does not work the same way. It will collapse the row details but it won't move sibling rows to fill the newly empty screen real estate. Very odd.
I have noticed the DataGrid to be the most buggy of all the controls. Also, it appears to be the only control where the VSM is not used...maybe they are planning on spending more time on it for the next release.......? I hope so. Since they took away multi-select in ListBox there are few options if you need that.
While, I'm on the subject. There is extremely poor support for controlling Row and Alternating Row templates...just a few properties on the DataGrid itself. It would be great if I could fully customize the alternating rows like ...
