page post back or reloaded from same link

Hi,
I would like to read postback link value if I reload page from link on the same page for example:
<asp:HyperLink ID="hlA" runat="server" NavigateUrl="~/page.aspx">A</asp:HyperLink>
<asp:HyperLink ID="hlA" runat="server" NavigateUrl="~/page.aspx">B</asp:HyperLink>
so on page load event I would like to list all the records that starts with a or b bor example
I know I can use request in ?id=a but I would like to have plain URL without aditional statements in it
