Unable to display it

Hi,
I've these codes in the project.
<body>
    <img src="../pict/t24.jpg" alt="Background" />
    <form id="main_form" runat="server">
    ...

while pict is one subfolder within the project and is having the jpg file inside. But when running such deployed project in the server, I can't display the jpg file. Why?
