I developed a little image gallery application using local file system, it uploads an image, then generates 2 different sizes, the application also allows you to delete the files, I am uploading and storing the files in a directory within the application not a database. This all works fine. I then rebuilt the application, this time on localhost, problem now is that it deletes the 2 different sizes but does not want to delete the original image, I get the following error:

The process cannot access the file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Sample\images\gallery\Desert.jpg' because it is being used by another process. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
