The traditional ASP application works great performance wise, clicking on a link and a page is displayed quickly. I convert ASP application to ASP.Net using C# and now it's so slow. How can a traditional ASP which is interpreted runs a lot faster than ASP.Net app which is compiled? The performance is not acceptable. I have to sit there waiting and waiting for every click to respond. Is there a way to improve the performance? I'm not sure what I do wrong.
