Hi!
I'm realitevly new to .NET programming - especially ASP.  With that qualifier stated, please bear with with me.
I'm working on a project that has existing code (which was outsourced before I started); however, it won't compile.  The reason being: one custom class cannot implement another custom class.
For example, there are two files: ValidateCookies.vb [contains public class ValidateCookies] & Navigation.ascx.vb
Navigation.ascx.vb implements ValidateCookies and uses its method checkSecurity().  However, the application won't compile because the Type 'ValidateCookies' is not defined.  These files are in the same solution; however, none of them are contained in a namespace.
Any help to determine why these types cannot see one another would be incredibly appreciated!
