1. For traditional web-based programming synchronous calls are made and the response is received ?
2. Browser shows the progress bar that call is in process.
3. But In Asynchronous calls being made in situations which use AJAX for example, we are notified when the response is reached, check the status and proceed further.
4. In case if there is some problem and say data is not being returned very fast, the user might want to stop the action that he had taken.
5. but for asynchronous calls even the browser wont show the progresss .
6. Question is how an end-user can stop the request made for asynchronous calls being made.
