How to access viewstate from ashx file?

 Hi all,
 
I want to access an existing viewstate from ashx file but the viewstate doesn't exists in this context
 
on the code behind I add datatable object to a viewstate and it works fine


                    ViewState.Add("dataTable",DataTable);
 
How to pick it up from ashx file?
