I have a requirement where multiple users access a web site from a shared computer. The computer is typically in kiosk mode and logging out is not an option. I need each of the users to be able to log into the web application or "sign in as different user" (sharepoint similar).
I have sent a response.ErrorCode = 403; and this works to change the authentication ticket but it is messy. The user is prompted three times before the code is cleared and the error page (no error page specified so defaults back to current page) is displayed.
I have researched doing this function using impersonation and tried to send them to a page they did not have access to re-authenticate, but there are holes and not clean. I have also experimented with clearing the HttpContext.Current.User, but since this is done at the browser level the credentials are re-established as soon as I clear them because I have integrated turned on and I dont want the regular users to always auth ...
