C# class creation for multilayer collections and other questions

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question - so sorry if its the wrong one!

 I have a few questions on class creation which I need some help on:

1) I have an entity which has three layers parent, child, grandchild - how many classes Dataaccess/Business layer classes do I need to build this model?

2) If I have hundereds of entities (e.g. orders, customers, vendors ........ etc) should I expect to have hundereds of dataacess classes as well as business layer classes for the entities.

3) when I set up the defaults for each entity should I retrieve them from some data dictionary or hard code them in the DAL

 Any advice on these would be much appreciated!
