I have scoured the web trying to figure out how to make my Header.ascx UserControl in my proj transparent.
Basically, I have a main page (with a full-page image background) that loads a header user control. When the Header.ascx loads it blocks out the background image from Default.aspx.
Most (if not all) of the examples involved overriding CreateParams, OnPaintBackground and a few others, but those aren't available to this Control (must derive from System.Web.UI.UserControl).
I tried to make my UserControl derive from System.Windows.Form.Control, but I get a runtime error saying it needs to derive from System.Web.UI.UserControl.
Can anyone help?
