Hi,
Some of my pages use https even when the user is not authenticated. When the user clicks on a link at those pages, he is taken to the link page using https even if https is not needed for those pages.
Example:
/shop/starbuying-register.aspx -> not authenticated but https
-> the user clicks on a link
/shopping-prices.aspx is taken to ->https://www.sitename.com/shopping-prices.aspx
I want this to be http://www.sitename.com/shopping-prices.aspx
At these pages, I have tried checking for https(IsSecureConnection) and redirecting to the page using http (Response.redirect(Request.Url.ToString().Replace("https","http")
but the above results in a infinite loop.
I have also tried outputting client script block which redirects to http version. This has failed aswell.
I would be glad if some one could help with this issue.
