how i can use 'PrviousPage.FindControl method hyperlink

Hi,

I have a webform  that i am using to add product imformation, after saving the info to the DB, there is a hyper link on the page, i click on it to go another page where i can add more details about the added product.

in the second page, i want to use 'PrviousPage.FindControl method to get some information from the previous page like.'ProductID', 'ProductCode' etc.., but this always return null

I am not sure what i am missing.
