So I have part of the site written in HTML and CSS, and my client wants it converting to ASP.

I'm now trying to learn ASP.NET and SQL fast, as I will have to create a database where the client employees will enter data, and the general public will be able to see it... I Hope :)

But, from what I have read, and the fact that there is currently no manipulation of anything on the site, it seems that I can just rename all my .htm and .html files as .aspx files, or leave them as .htm .html files, and I only need .aspx files when I actually do something ASP related.

Hope that makes sense :)

Am I correct, or completely off target?
