Hi all, I am about to start work on a project and could do with a shove in the right direction. Basically I am writing a asp.net webpage that displays information from a database table. When the table is altered in anyway (insert, update, delete) I want the web page to automatically display the changes. Would I have to use AJAX for this or is there a control that can do this? If I am to use AJAX can changes on the database table trigger changes to the front end or would I have to use a timed check from the clients side to look for changes?
