i'm using symmethric RC2 algorithm for encrypting important data in html page.
i've got 2 custom classes, one is in outer application, the other is on web server so that outer application encrypts data and ASP.NET page on web server decrypts it.
i send encrypted data but RC2 algorithm is requiring key and initialization vector for decrypting on web server (they generate each time as i send a request to the server). How can I send this data too? i can convert key and vector in base64 string and send them with the other data in html page, but the key must be secret.
How can i pass key and vector safely to ASP.NET page?
