I am using the FormsAuthentication with my own custom membershipprovider.. The login-control has a LayoutTemplate with the RememberMe checkbox, but it doesn't affect whether or not the auth-cookie is created to be persistent.. I would think that's the desired effect of the checkbox?

The checkbox is configured correctly in the LayoutTemplate, because RememberMeSet="true" presets the checkbox..
The cookie is set in the browser, but on the expiration date is says "at the end of the session" (Firefox)
What am i doing wrong? I can't seem to find anything on Google, so maybe I'm not using the control correctly
