Encrypting Configuration Information Using Protected Configuration

I am doing this part: Granting Read Access to an RSA Encryption Key

QUESTION 1

I created an identity.aspx, and placed it in 'wwwroot/mySite'

Then I went to http://www.mysite.com/identit.aspx

I get the error that 'identity.aspx' is NOT compiled. Well thats true I have compliled my asp.net site.

So what do I now ?

QUESTION 2

Step 4 is so vague: Its says 'The identity of your ASP.Net application, as determined in the preceding step. ' . but in the example is does not show any identity. So what should it look like ?
