Remove the highlight color of the Gridview Row from clientside(jquery)

Hi,
i have a gridview in a form where if a user clicks on the row it gets highlighted(the background color changes), i am highlighting the row from code behind in Grid_SelectedIndexChanged event.

there is clear button , this is not an asp button its an html button(client), when clicked it clears all the form data (uses jquery to clear )
eg it clears all the textboxes.

now when user clicks clear i want to also clear the selected row of the gridview, reset the background color to original.
i need this to be done from client side
any help?
