in textbox control

Hi all,

i have a TextBox. i have to set the Default value as "FROM". if you want to enter the text in the textbox, it should allow them to enter the text after that default value("FROM". that default value shouldn't be deleted by anyone. how can we do that?

can anyone help me out?
