I am new to ASP.NET, and I am in the process of building a new website using ASP.NET technology. In order to help we with creation of different functionalities for my website I am following the guidlines in a book as well as the tutorials in this website.
I had a question about the use of BLL (Business Logic Layer) & DAL (Data Access Layer) compare to the code below which is the code in a code behind of the menu page made in the book. To give a bit of more information about what I mean, I have created some Business logic layer, similar to the BLL build in one of the tutorials in this website, as well as a DAL again similar to what has been build in one of the tutorials in this website, in order to create ObjectDataSorce which I then use in my menu page (this is menu page for online ordring of foods).
And what I really want to know is that is the code below similar to what I have done using BLL and DAL appraoch, as from what I can see it has some SOL comman ...
