DataService in Asp.Net 3.5

hi all




I created a webservice which returning record from Database. record has many columns some ,Datetime, int,etc.. I want to convert all datatypes to String and then return to XML webservice. can i do that?


public IQueryable<ABApp> GetApp(int AppID)
    {
        ABApp app = ABAppBLL.GetApplication(AppID);
        List<ABApp> listApp = new List<ABApp>() { app };
        return  listApp.AsQueryable<ABApp>();
    }


i want to return following after convert to all to strings.
return  listApp.AsQueryable<ABApp>();
