I have a GridView that has 3 columns (name, telephone number and mobile number). The GridView populates correctly and the sorting also works fine if no searching has been done. I can sort a the GridView descending and ascending no problem.
I also have a search bar and button which searches through the GridView. This also works correctly when no sorting has been done at any point. However if I do a sort and try to search the search fails to work it doesn't return anything (just stays the same as what the sort showed) and if I try to do a sort after I have searched that doesn't work either it just stays the same.
What could cause this problem and what options do I have for fixing it? Not much code is written for this so there must be something I'm missing somewhere. Thanks
