Referencing data from another page

 If I am working with MyPage.aspx that has a DropdownList DDLMyList, I know that in the code behind I can refer to its selected item as for example:
DDLMylist.SelectedItem.ToString
But what if the DDL is on OtherPage.aspx and I want to use its value in the code-behind of MyPage.aspx ? 
What would the VB code need to look like? Is there some way to get the DDL value posted from OtherPage.aspx to MyPage.aspx?
