I have an application which has an embedded FTP application from within. So what happens is, whenever a user logs in, i pass the username and password to the FTP application to authenticate, so that they dont have to authenticate again. It has been working fine except for this one new issue that popped up. I am using Server.URLEncode(Username) and Server.URLEncode(Password) and then pass it to the FTP application. The issue with Server.URLEncode is that whenever the password contains the ampersand character (&), the FTP application is not able to authenticate. I was wondering is there any other equivalent/replacement for Server.URLEncode?
