string split problem

string text = "PNL BG094/11JUN CCU PART2"; string[]partText = text.Split(' '); Label1.Text = partText.Length.ToString();

length show me 3. but it should show 4.I can't understand where is the problem.
partText[0] =  PNL BG094/11JUN;
partText[1] =  CCU;
partText[2] =  PART2;

any help would be great !
