I used http://www.asp.net/learn/videos/video-439.aspx to send email with image. I;m using VS 2005 (asp.net 2.0 and VB). I'm reading the email using Outlook 2003. When set to read html, it works fine (body:"html view" plus the image), however when set to read as text, it still receives body:"html view" with no image) - it never gets body:"Plain text view"
