Check if aspx/ascx compiles programmatically

Hey all,
I have to need to check and see if a particular page compiles (or has any errors) from within a web application.
The idea is that we could develop simple asp.net driven content controls inside an html form, and before we post it to the server for outside access/compilation, we'd like run a suite of sanity checks on it before people actually trying to actually render them. (This would include the "It compiles" test)
I just want to collect a list of compile errors and render it in the browser before actually saving off the code/writing out the file.

Any tips/links would be welcome.
