We are developing a 3 tier web app - UI, Business, and DAL.
The idea is that the business layer will manage I/O to the DAL so that the UI does not make any direct DAL calls.
Well, the UI needs to be able to use a DAL static class, and I would like to for the Business Layer to be able to present this static class in a proxy kind of way. Each layer is an individual project within the solution.
I free typed the code below, and it won't compile (or I wouldn't be here). But as you can see, I want for the BL to act as a proxy to the DAL. Please help!
